Masters Message April 2008 Brethren, March has been a “great” month for Henry Barnes Lodge! I am very proud of the Barnestormers, who performed so magnificently at Newport Lodge, under the direction of Team Captain Tom Buschle and his Assistant Directors, Paul Sheldon and Dale House; and with the support of forty year Barnestormers Ray Croley and Jerry Davis. Bobby Crittendon raised candidate John Glenn, who was presented an honorary membership in the Barnestormers while Billy Scolf gave the lecture. Good fellowship followed with the brethren of Newport Lodge, around a fine Dinner. A good time! At the March meeting Brother Darryl Mitchell will received his Fellowcraft degree under the direction of Sr. Warden Burl Dean. The G lecture to be given by Sr. D. James Rose and the Stair lecture by Jr. D. Rob Smith. He joins FC John Halsey who is now back in the States from Iraq. We have received petitions from Misters: John Moellman, Benjamin Kestel, Robert Belcher, Todd Houston, William Branch, Jerry Ennis, Daniel Moermond, and Jeffry Moermond. Those investigated and elected, will receive the Entered Apprentice on Friday, March 28 at 7:30 pm. Refreshments will follow. Henry Barnes “Travelers Club” has visited several Lodges in the District and will be visiting several more in April. Anyone who wishes to share in the fellowship of the other lodges in Campbell County, just call Chairman Billy Scolf or Herman Dean for dates. We have had very good representation visiting lodges, and thank you to all who attends! Henry Barnes Lodge was well represented at the Masonic Leadership Conference and Moyers Winery. Regretfully, the “Van Dells Rock and Roll Show” for May 9, is sold out. Due to illness, our Jr. Warden Greg Wheeler has tendered his resignation. We wish him the very best. An election will be held at the April 22nd meeting for this office and any that come available. Fraternally, Bill Lorenz, Master
